Aromatic Weave" is an example that hints at aromatic compounds, carbon-based organic compounds in chemistry, and their relationship with aroma or sense of smell, which is linked to memory. Aromatic rings are unsaturated rings that usually don't make large solid carbon structures. This is my imagination and effort of weaving aromatic rings visually together to hold tight to my collective memories with my sister. In this particular work, the structural links are

broken and fragmented. Forgotten memories, the things that don't last, like moments in our lives—trying to show how time changes everything and convey a dimension of temporal decay and natural deterioration. Nothing lasts forever; I believe that! I try to echo the passage of time and its effects on physical matter.
