This series of 12 pieces narrates the wear and tear on our bodies as the years pass, reflecting on her migration's physical and emotional toll. Utilizing a press wheel and compressing a woven bead within the press, we explore themes of separation, the ache of distance, and life's relentless progression. We touch upon bleeding, savoring life's moments, the relentless march of time, and the gradual erosion and fragmentation that life entails.
